There was Hope
Our Lady: "What has happened
to the shame among you? Pagans! There was hope, My child, when satan

The Sun signifies prelates in the Church
The Moon signifies the priests who receive light
from the bishops like the Moon receives light from the Sun.
The Stars signify the religious.
Day and night signify the people in the Church,
who are enlightened by the teachings of the bishops, priests and
religious like day and night are illumined by the Sun, Moon and stars.
When a each of these loses a third of its light,
namely the Sun, Moon, stars, day and night, it signifies that among each
group, i.e. bishops, priests, religious and lay people, there are three
kinds of individuals: first, those who are perfect; second, those who are
on their way to perfection, and third, those who are neither perfect nor
on their way to perfection. It is this last third that loses its light.
